Listers,

I've removed the axle shafts from my TR4 and I've been trying to press off
the rear hub using my hydraulic press. I've got the hub supported real well
and I put a small socket on top of the shaft where the press would contact
the threaded end of the shaft. My press only has a 12 ton jack on it and so
far I haven't been able to break the axle free. My question is would a little
heat from a torch at the same time help pop it free? Any other suggestions
would also be greatly appreciated.

TIA
