Paul, it sounds like a great idea. I've never heard of a Spitfire 
conversion, but I have read road tests of both 948 and 1200 Heralds 
having been converted by Brabham, as well as some "Spridgets." I can't 
imagine any real problems with converting a Spitfire, unless there are 
bonnet height issues?
