Guys
I know some of you out there are computer whizz's - I'm not. In fact,
I'm the original moron.
Can you tell me whether I should just re-install Windows 95 or
whether this is more profound.
Everytime I boot from cold, my system insists on running Scandisk. So
I let it do that, or hit the 'x' key if I'm in a hurry. Then, when it
comes to shut down, I get a nice picture of clouds and an on-screen
message of "please wait a moment while your computer shuts down."
Sometimes I wait for ever.
Anyone got an Ultra Dummies Guide to fix this?
