I see lots of good suggestions regarding this, especially like the idea
of injecting with a syringe.

My .02 worth, many automotive paint stores carry 3M Pin Stripe Remover.
I've used it a number of times to remove striping & other adhesives with
no damage to paint.Do test it in a hidden area to be sure it doesn't
effect your paint.

As previously suggested, a hairdryer certainly helps too.

(No financial interest in 3M, yada yada. Say, weren't they the ones who
asked the guy who invented Post It Note glue, "Who would want a glue
that doesn't stick?")
