Craig:
This may not be of any help to you, as I have a Monza system and not a
Falcon system, but I had to tackle a similar problem with the Monza system
since it is a dual outlet system. There is only one hanger on that
cross-tube originally. For the Monza system, it's in the right place to
support the LEFT muffler. But there is no hanger for the RIGHT muffler at
all. What I did is order from TRF part number 142449, that's the little
hanger that is welded to the cross-tube on the left side, and I measured
for position and had it welded onto the cross-tube on the right side, too.
If in your case the left-hand hanger is not in the right place to begin
with, just order two of these and have them welded on in the correct
positions on the cross-tube. The part I refer to is pictured on page 215
(#24) of the TRF Spare Parts Catalog, Volume One. The part was really,
really cheap as I recall. I hope this helps you... if not, I apologize for
using up your mailbox!!
