On the race teams we cover all our wiring looms with Raychem heatshrink.
It resists everything, including some fire. oil resistance is better than
normal, with cleaning required but effective.

Yeah- build the loom up...... Milspec connectors, teflon 200C rated
wiring, and proper heatshrink. Then again, your loom could easily cost
more than the car......
