I've never been a big fan of armor all, i dont care for the greasy
residue it leavs behind. in a search for something to put on the leather
wrap on my steering wheel a guy at the local hardware store turned me on
to something called "ballistol". it worked relly well on the wrap and i
wound up spot check cleaning all the vinyl with it. the center console
in my six was old when i got it and had since gotten milky from the sun,
its been at least 4 weeks since i cleaned it and still looks great.

anyone else ever used/heard of this stuff? it's made in germany and is
bio-degradable, on the can it says it can be used for:
wood, metal, leather, plastic, painted sufraces, and plant leaves. on an
interesting note the guy at the store said the salesman has even sprayed
it in his mouth to i guess "prove" safty.

comments?
