>Based on past postings to the list, I want to replace the silentbloc
bushings in my TR3B steering with the bronze and stainless steel type. Does
anyone know of a source other than British Frame & Engine? They are out of
stock and are not sure of when they'll be back in. I do know I'd rather
replace them while I have the suspension and steering OFF of the car rather
than later!

Dave,

Sorry I'm so late, I've been in work only four days in the past month or
so, so I am way behind on the digests.....

Neil at Revington TR definitely had them, although I would check Ted
Schumaker, TS Imports first.

I did this conversion last year with the parts from BFE. Very nice. Be
careful when pressing the bushings in though. I used a narrow faced vice
and slightly egged the end of the bronze bushing, so I had to have them
reamed back out.

I also chilled the bushings in a freezer to shrink them, prior to pressing.

Good luck. You will be happy with the result.

Later,

Jack
