I don't know how many of you have satellite TV - but note this if you
have or are
interested. BBC 1 in the UK has been running a programme since heaven
knows
when called The Antiques Roadshow.

For the last 4 days, Gaydon has been in a state of semi-controlled
chaos and if we've
moved all the cars once, we've moved them a hundred times. Just for the
record, tomorrow
Sunday November 15, sees BMIHT as the location for The Antiques
Roadshow.

The Beeb has decided in its wisdom, not to use the extensive Conference
facility that we
have but to do all the recording in the Museum itself. Thus, some of
the most illustrious
British Cars will be on view - namely these:

1927 Leyland Straight 8, 7.6 litre (The only survivor apart from Parry
Thomas' "Babs")
!908 Austin Grand Prix car 9.6 litre (ex Lord Brabazon of Tara)
1927 3 litre Bentley
1907 Rover Twenty
1911 Rover 12
1913 Standard Model 'O' Cheltenham

In the background, you should be able to see:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
MG EX181 Record breaker
1963/65 Rover-BRM gas turbine (ex Graham Hill/Ritchie Ginther/Jackie
Stewart Le Mans car)
1963 Mini Cooper S - 33EJB - winner of the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally
'Red Flash'

and for the pedal car purist (!!!!!!)
---------------------------------------------
Austin Seven racer
Austin J40
Atco Junior (the one with a lawnmower engine in the boot (trunk)

Just for fun
---------------
Batmobile (leaking more oil than any LBC could EVER do)
Batbike
Reliant 3 wheeler van of "TROTTER'S INDEPENDENT TRADING" from "Only
Fools and Horses"

Programme is schedoolied for transmission sometime between Christmas
and the New Year.
