Hi.

You asked:

The answer is: flat black. The area to be painted is the little horizontal
shelf and the verticle portion behind it, the surface that the "egg crate"
grill bolts to.

I always thought this was redundant, as you when you put things together,
you'll be putting the "finisher, apron front" onto the horizontal surface
(thus covering the paint), but that's the way they were.

Now, what I don't remember is: does the flat black color get applied to the
section of the fender that is located to the outside of the grill
opening??... I seem to remeber that it did, but like an idiot, I took no
pictures of my car at that point - so I have no actual reference to go back
to. And I painted my car 10 years ago, so the memory is fading... fast.

Hope this helps.

Oh - I think VTR web pages have refernences to colors... if not there then
JB Zimerman's Fabulous TR6 pages have at least one reference (by me).

See ya and good luck.
