Hi, Don't confuse a Detroit Locker and a "locked" diff. The D.L. actually can ratchet and act like an open diff on hard corners... so, a D.L. is streetable - meaning you can drive around corners without having to slide the car. A welded up diff is most certainly not streetable, or if you do drive one on the street, you would be attracting a lot of attention as you powerslide around corners. See ya, rml TR6's |
