lifting the cars 10'' doesn't seem to be much better than just using a
floor jack and stands. BUT.., for about $3000 you can get a lift that
allows you to stand under it . Works great for changing oil and working
on exhaust systems and other things. They also can be used to allow
storage over and under. the claim was you need a roof only 4" higher
than the height of your 2 cars. My ceiling is 11' so I can lift my tr6
to the top notch, still use the 10' door and park the spitfire under it.
If your going to get a lift, get a lift.
