A friend of mine is headed this way.  I keep telling him that
$10K worth of TR5/6/250 and $20K in the bank will buy a _lot_
of mechanic's time, but he's still going to drop 30 large on
the teutonic toy.  I've driven one.  If I had room in the
stable I could be convinced to think about one.  As it is, I'm
happy going a bit slower and getting there in style (as long
as it's under an 8 hour trip).
