Well, it has been made apparent that the GL5 will be nasty to my
transmission. I will try to find some GL4 spec gear oil (hopefully 90W
EP like the Haynes book requests)
How about my differential? Can it take the 80W90 GL5 (genuine Castrol!)
or should I wait on it too? I also have some Mohawk (local gas chain) in
the same spec. Wish I could use the stuff. Maybe it works as a cutting
fluid- I know that you can use Sulflo, which is sulfur embedded in oil...
will have to try sometime and see what happens.
