Saving emails

Hello the list.  Now that I have a TR6, I would like to save pertinent
information from the list.  I'm aware of the archives, but I would
prefer to save the ones I need to floppy disc.  The question I have is, how
is the best way to do that.  I haven't been successful in
saving emails in text format.  Is there something I'm doing wrong?  Perhaps
someone could email me off list and help me out, because I'm pretty computer
illiterate.  Thanks so much in advance.
