Final comment: We could not replace the front sway
bar mounting
bushings because the nuts which secure the two
U-bolts are hidden by the
radiator -- we could figure no way to get a wrench
anywhere near them.
Seems like this *should-be-simple* job requires
radiator removal! Any
suggestions?

Steve and Keith:

I changed all of the previously mentioned front end
pars too this spring.

The only curve was the discovery that the Moss heavy
duty springs lowered the front end just enough to
cause my 205-70-15's to rub on the left front fender
when hitting bumps. The reason was because of some
poor body work done by the DPO.

So, everything comes apart and the springs are taken
back out. I ended up putting in the 3/4" spacers
that Richard Good sells under the springs in the
front. He said that he hadn't heard of anyone else
doing that but see's no reason why it shouldn't work.
In my case it works great. The front end is now
slightly higher than the rear so I'll get to that end
of the car next year.
Re: The sway bar mount bushing.

Yes I had to take the radiator out - a frustrating
discovery - but it was actually very easy to do. And
while it's out is a perfect time to replace that
pesky lower hose.

Shipwright's disease attacks from all angles!
