Shane,
two weeks ago I finished replacing the 22 year old bushings on my TR6.
My symptom was......level road, hard acceleration up the gears, shifting
from 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th, as I released the accelerator and
disengaged (engaged?) the clutch the car would drift strong to the right
until I corrected back to the left. While I was in the rear end I
replaced the nearly rotted insulators on the top and bottom of both coil
springs. I would also advise greasing the half shaft splines while you
are in there...you have to remove the spline any way to release the
trailing arm.
