When I dragged my TR4 home, I used a piece of chain (3/8+) to span the
space between the bumper mounting brackets.  I also had a lot of muscular
help (and eventually a winch) to pull it up my driveway.

Providing the frame is in good shape and the wheels turn, you should have
no problems tying onto the frame.

Go slowly and chock the wheels every six inches in case something lets go.
