Thanks for clearing up the British date format issue of dd/mm/yy. I couldn't
figure out why they wouldn't build any in the first month of of '73.
Re: the late '73 cars with overriders being '74 models. I had thought this too
until I saw chart in the current Moss catalogue showing the overriders added on
the '74 1/2's.
With my car being built in Jan '73, I would think I would have missed the
overriders. As I mentioned, the PO said another PO had added them, but this
seems almost unlikely.
Very confusing.

Looking at the Kimberley & Piggott TR books, seems that most TR6 model
years began production in Aug or Sept. If that applied in '73, might those
Sept & Oct cars might be '74 models??? Neither book shows the '73 carb
model year end nor the '74 start, though. The Rossi & Clark book gives the
first '74-model commission no. as CF12501.
