Change it!
I put fresh oil in my TR4 right after I got it (and right before I parked
it, incidentally)- I will need new oil this summer when it works again.
A good way to check is to pull the dipstick and rub the oil between your
fingers- if it feels lumpy or is black or doesn't rub clean, it should be
replaced.
