A little offbeat but if anyone's done this, they're on the list. I want to clean up my dashpot covers. What's the best way to go about this? A cloth buffing wheel and some jeweler's rouge? I know there's various buffing compound bars you can buy and the type used is based on the type of metal being polished. These are used for refinishing/buffing golf club heads. Is the dashpot cover made of aluminum? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Bob Danielson 75 TR6 - status at http://pages.cthome.net/BobD |
