Well, looks like World War 3 could break out as to whether it's 'er' or an
'or' on things which 'adapt.' Why not call it a 'go between' instead? Those
words are spelled the same way on both sides of the Atlantic - and I think
they mean the same thing. Now to the aspects of:

With a bit of luck, tomorrow morning will see me in charge of the Reading
Room and Library at BMIHT in which sceptered chamber can be found all sorts
of useful publications - and where two hours can vanish in a nanosecond. If
I could sell them all now, I know I could retire before the 75th
Anniversary to spend the rest of my life in the greatest comfort, be
bathed by vestal virgins three times daily in asses milk and want for
nothing. I'll be happy to look up the queries raised and post a
consolidated reply to the list in 24 hours. This gives those of you needing
data about 12 hours, as of now, to submit other technical queries/specs etc
for me to download tomorrow morning before I leave "to fight another day"
among the general pubic - sorry, pubLic.
