Doug, I bought a unit from TIP about 8 years ago and have been very
pleased with the unit just not the owner. First I bought the 28" wide
unit for 700.00 because I suddenly became conservative (cheap), for jus
100.00 more I could have had the 36" and the extra space is really
needed, item # 2 is I aalso bought a compressor that is very marginial
with keeping up with the work, single stage-5 HP-60 gal., you cannot use
this very long before heat build-up forces a time-out, 2 stage comp. is
the only way to go. If your sandblasting cabinet is to small it's just a
waste, you are only going into this one time so think about the long haul
and also your fellow club members as well as your neighbors, good secrets
are hard to keep, better to have a little more room than not enough. Tips
makes their own and a large selection of them, they will be at Carlisle,
you may be able to make a better deal, last but not least you must have a
vacum attached to it or you can't see your work.
