When I first rebuilt the TR3 in 1973 I did not have the advantage of e-mail
and in my ignorance, I used 1/4 inch copper tubing for the gas lines. I did
rebuild the carbs at the time. I have had no problems with anything but the
original fuel pump did go out in 1996. I used copper because of the cost
and ease of flaring. IMHO no problems. Also, I had a front brake line rub
also. Two tie downs and a piece of rubber inner tube made an adequate pad,
it's been fine for fifteen or so years. The TR4 has copper between the SU's
and no problem here either. I'll keep the list posted as to when they fail :^).

1961 TR3
1962 TR4 Art, I had no problems when buying the TR4, no real structural
problems. Maybe having a TR3 for twenty or so years helped.
