Listers,
Recently I acquired a '67 GT6 (with some concourse eliminating
modifications).
Had the standard teething troubles with it, but drove 500 miles the other
weekend and it went brilliantly.
During the week however it has developed a nasty 'clunk' somewhere in the
rear right corner when acc/decelerating and over bumps.
Also noticeable; when cornering to the left, backing off the gas produces
said clunk and the tail 'flicks' alarmingly to the right. Doesn't occur
when cornering to the right, and I'm sure it didn't happen before...
All sorts of nightmare scenarios are flashing through my mind... most of
them with dollar bills attached.
Ideas, suggestions or things I should look at _before_ I hand my bank
account details over to the local Triumph 'specialist'.
