Worth buying a spares car?

Hi, all.

I've been offered a facelift 2500TC and a 2500S for spares. They are cheap
enough but there may be too many differences between by '72 PI and these
cars.
My car is an MG5000? number, these will obvioulsy be MG70000? models.
Anyone know what will and won't be useful to me.
