The basic compliant against Miata drivers is that they aren't
"enthusiasts". For the most part, that's a very valid observation.
Then again, how many non-enthusiasts bought MG's or TR's over the years
because they were "cute"? Now, of course, only the faithful remain.
I have no desire for a Miata, but it's nice to know that if somebody
wants a modern car, they can still get a RWD 2-seat roadster with a
manual transmission for less than $30,000! Just a few years ago, that
prospect seemed unlikely.
