I suggest taking it out from the inside. You do have to take out the
seats, radio/dash support and carpets, but that is about all. (tunnel
cover of course)
You can get it out with no help in less than an hour, if practiced.
The bell housing just clears the frame and sheet metal with a little jiggling.
If you raise the whold car, you can put a bottle jack under the engine.
This will allow you to support then engine when your unbolt the trans, and
also lets you position the angle of engine when you get ready to reinstall.
You will need a pilot shaft to align the clutch place on reassembly. Other
wise it is almost imposible to get it centered, and you will never the the
trans shaft to go through.
