IMHO, do it through the interior. I've had mine in and out several
times, and swear by this method.
The toughest part is reaching the nuts/bolts on the bellhousing, both
sides of the firewall at the same time! Trust me though, it can be done!
I guess in the end, the question is whether you'd prefer to
dismantle/reasseble your engine bay, or your interior!
Oh, the other tough part is getting the splines on the input shaft to
match up on reassembly. Perfectly doable though with a little
patience, hops & barley...
