Ken,
I have been reading this thread with much interest.  What I have not
read and what is an important cnsideration, is the resale value issue.

The TR6's have bottomed out and are now constantly going up in value,
particularly if they are kept in good confdition.  The Miata's have not
been out long enough to tell whether they will gain a collector value,
but if the Datsun 240,260... series are any indication, the TR6 should
be a much better investment.  Look around and see what you can buy one
of those Datsuns for.  And they were really noce cars when they came
out.
