According to the my rescent purchace of the Workshop Manual, the O/D is incredibly sencitive to the oil type. I beleve you have to use the right type of oil. Also it's very sencitive to stuff in the oil. So much so that the manual says to use a lint free cloth when overhauling the transmion. Maybe the pro was not so pro when they did you transmition.
