If it helps you, my '74 TR6 with a build date of Jan 02, 1994 and commission
number CF16990U (Mallard Blue) is virtually IDENTICAL to a 1973 model, with
the exception of the bumper overriders and a few vacuum lines. It has been
restored to100% original. I'm not sure when the bumper overiders first
appeared ( I think during August '73) or when the 1974 1/2 (which looks almost
identical to the 1975 model). The color palette for '74 is the same as '73.
But since production for the '74 model year represents the largest for any
year of the run of the TR6 model, and with probably the most changes, to me it
is the most interesting year model.
