Hi Amy (?), Jeff here,
Got a question for you and it IS NOT meant to be taken personally,
honest.
You've asked for "best offer OVER $1500". What does someone selling
mean when they say that? I know when I'm selling something I'm
thinking to myself, well, I need at least $1500.00 for it, so I'll
start higher and let people work me down to $1500. What kind of
responses/offers do you get when the asking price is phrased in such a
way as to request offers higher. Are you expecting people to start a
bidding war? BTW, you aren't the only one doing this, I see it all the
time. I guess I don't understand the logic.
Again, I ask with absolutely no malice intended. Maybe I'm just
ignorant. :)

Hi, all,
I have to make room for a recently (this morning) aquired TR4, so I am
selling my Mk3 Spitfire. It is a 1969, with a 1500 engine and transmission in
it. I have put all new tires and a new top on it, and have had new main and rod
bearings installed, as well as new thrust washers. The car is a daily driver,
and has completed several 150 mile highway trips with no problem. It needs
cosmetic finishing, but not much bodywork. The frame appears to be just about
perfect. I can't say the same for the interior, but the car is complete.
I am located in Columbia, Mo. and will sell the car for the best offer
over $1500.
Thanks,
Tony Zager & Amy Black
