Subject: TR4 interior
I will be ordering a new interior for my restoration (1963 TR4) soon and
would like this lists advice.
Of the "three" suppliers, which supplier is the best value for the
dollar? I will be ordering leather as my car originally was built with
that option as well as sun visors.
Any help will be appreciated.

I am very happy with the two sets of interior bits obtained from Moss. They
had less time with back orders and the pieces fit well. I had to get new
seats and springs for the TR4 and a couple of the Moss folks worked with me
to get the seats covered by one of their employees at home. EXCELLENT job.
I had problems
finding someone to install the TR3 bits here in Central Florida. It was a
most satisfying remedy to my problem.
I bought the vinyl set of covers for the TR3 and they are nice, but the
black leather in the TR4 is totally worth the increased price. Again, they
were installed by the Moss people in their off time. Can't speak to the
other two, although I like them both and have used both. I probably like
TRF the best but Moss seems to have what I want and I'm able to do all my
ordering through one salesperson and through that connection I have received
the extra service. Also, returns have been painless.
The usual disclaimers and I don't stand to gain financially from this.
