Nigel, stay away from having UPS as the shipper. They charge enormous
brokerage fees to get the parts through customs and don't know squat that
duties don't apply to antique auto parts. All around a bad company to deal
with. They still owe me the GST they forced me to pay on bogus duties that
Revenue Canada refunded to me, I hate to say this but stick with Canada
Post and pay them the very reasonable $5 to handle the customs clearance.

I have just discovered that the free shipping on TRF orders over $1,500
does not apply to Canada. Funny that - another benefit of potential
statehood for Canada. Just wondering if there is any clever way of getting
a shipping address just over the border, popping down and picking the stuff
up. Any ideas? Seeing the Northern Peso is so low now, shipping cost
becomes a consideration, particularly when stuff is back ordered. TRF don't
really seem to get the message, although it is a major consideration.
