I am by no mean an expert(you will hear from them shortly), but you should have
him check the commission number. The manufacturing history on these cars is
funky and there may have been a time lag from when it was manufactured
initially to when it was purchased off the lot.
Earlier TR4's I believe had a crank option. I'm not sure about latter and I
know that 1965 was the last year of the TR4 before it went to the TR4A.
The radiator may have been replaced by a previous owner. Tell this person good
luck with it. It is a beautiful car and is a real joy to drive(when working).
I'll have my '65 TR4 on the road within two months.
