I've been following the welding thread with great interest. I'm a pretty decent welder when it comes to stick welding, but I've always wanted to try something like MIG welding. Are there any preferences for brands of welders, types of welders and things I should stay away from? Can MIG welders weld small holes or tears in sheet metal without gross distortion? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. TIA Brad 1964 Spitfire4 BFC25720L 1964 TR4 (coming soon!) 1951 Dodge Truck 82217766 B-3-B-108 |
