Synthetic oil recommendation please

Hi all, 

I'm gonna be changing the oil on the Spit today. I was wondering if I
should use some Mobil One 15w-50 in it or not. Any recommendations? I'm
also going to pull the pan. With all the recent threads concerning thrust
washers, is there something I should look for? Anyways, please respond to
me directly concerning any experience with synthetic oils because I
receive the net digest about 2-3 days after people post to it. Thanks in
