I don't know exactly what stuff you are talking about, but if it is on
the outside where visible, Bondo dies the trick.  Used as a smoother
and seam filler instead of how you often see it filling large dents,
Bondo is a reliable and long lasting product.  If you do use it,
make sure you apply it to a clean unpainted surface.  This will give
you a good bond to the metal.
