formula for compression ration:

{[(pi/4) x bore squared x stroke] + chamber volume}
__________________________________________
               chamber volume

Note: all measurements should be in cm and cubic cm. Chamber volume should
include gasket volume which is found by: (pi/4 x gasket bore diameter
squared) x the thickness of the gasket in cm.

Compression ratio is enclosed cylinder volume at BDC divided by enclosed
cylinder volume at TDC. Remember that overboring increases cylinder volume
but not combustion-chamber volume. Then, with an overbore, the ratio
becomes higher.
