To all,
My '65 Sports 6 (fitted with Mk IV Spit Differential) has developed a
loud howl in the rear end. Cursory examination reveals the left output
shaft has excessive slop in the bearing. I would like a sound, reliable
rear end. What is best: 1) rebuild or have a rebuild on the existing
part, 2) Buy a rebuilt rear end (and if so from whom) 3) Other ideas.??
I have experience with engine a transmission rebuilds but none with
differentials. Thanks in advance.
