At 1K, the idle on my GT6 runs a bit high, even with the throttle stops fully backed out. It occurs to me that a contributing factor may be that the brake servo is no longer in the car, probably having been discarded after failure years ago. Though the intake manifold is capped off at the servo hose pipe, could the lack of a servo contribute to a high idle? Yours in wonderment ... -- Martin Secrest 73 GT6 III 74 Spitfire 1500 |
