Hi,
In SCCA, changing the wheels puts you in Street Prepared. For a TR250 or
a TR6, this would be D Street Prepared. The rim width for Street Prepared
is pretty much "free" as is diameter and offset - and - you can use
spacers so you can goof around with the track...
I'm not sure where the TR4 would go... At, it's in the DSP class also. I
just looked it up on the Web.
At VTR, changing the wheels would put you in M4 or modified TR250, TR6
and GT6.
If you change the wheels, and want to autox a lot, you should carefully
consider other suspension changes that are allowed - or - you should tote
along a set of stock rims with gumball DOT approved tires used just for
autoX.
