John--STOP STOP NOW> Never use a shop vac to deal with gasoline
or any tank that recently had gasoline in it. Your shop vac may become
a BOMB from the left over fumes.. And vacuuming creates STATIC
electricity on the plastic hose!
Like we've discussed before, you can douse a match in a bucket of
gasoline--if you are REAL FAST. But, turning your vacuum into a giant
cylinder looking for ignition is FAR more dangerous.
NEVER do anything you only get ONE chance to fail at. Think about that
one a minute.
We want you around to hear the rest of the story.
