Just drove the TR 4A to San Francisco and back for the weekend... 970 or
so miles... didn't really prepare the car for the trip, just jumped in
and went... idle went a little funny near the end... but other than
that... NO PROBLEMS... wonderful drive... My face is RED... my neck is
RED... my hands are RED....
I can't wait to drive to Dallas/FW for the National... I think I'll try
that new-fangled sunblock stuff on that ride... :)

P.S. While I was up there, I installed one of my gaskets on a friend's
TR 3 in Mill Valley. I was worried there might be some differences in
the heads that would conflict with my gasket's design... it fit great!
