low(?) oil pressure

Since 1972 my daily driver has been a LBC.  A couple of years ago, in a
1959 Bugeye, I would hold about 45 lbs. oil pressure when I first
started then engine and drop to 0 at idle after it warm up.  I drove it
like that for three years.
