I have a '65 TR4, and I am in the process of re-installing the
O/D gearbox in it after a several year hiatus from top gear.
In my mind, I have this idea that it would be nice to have an
"Overdrive" indicator light on the car. Not wanting to drill
holes in the dash or hang lights in random places, I was
wondering if Jaeger (or Smiths, I guess) ever made a tach with
an indicator or a speedo with two (Turn and some other) that
might be appropriately sized and styled for the '4 and that I
could perhaps adapt for the task. Not having any idea where
to start, I'm appealing to the collective wisdom (and
accumulated piles of random spare parts) of the SOL crowd...
