Hello all,

No, "rear end wobble" isn't my version of the Macaraina :)

My 1969 TR6 seems to have a tire, rim, or rear axel vibration. The
vibration increases with speed, and decreases as speed decreases. It
seems to be particularly bad when I drop into 3rd on a hill where the
motor takes a heavier load...I can really feel the rumble in my...you
know what!

My trustworthy mechanic said the rims were OK and that my left axle is
probably bent (the wheel wobbles noticeble when driving). I would like
to take a shot at the repair but could use some guidance from anyone who
has encountered the same problem. Particularly, I could use some help
identifying which parts are the likely problems.

Bye the way, my tires only have 1,000 miles on them and they were
balance when put on the car.

Thanks for your help!
