TR-7 starter problems

Lately, our 77 TR-7 has been acting up.  When I turn the key, I here the
click, but nothing happens.  If I then rock the car while it is in gear,
it will turn right over.  I had the starter rebuilt, but the problem did
not go away, in fact it has been getting worse.  Help!  Anybody out
there ever had this problem or know anything about it please respond
