     Yeah...and don't forget that in those very rare moments when the TR-6 
     guys finally succumb to the elements and have to put up their 
     tops...they still get wet!!!!
     
     Also, I haven't seen many TR-6's with a neat little factory plate 
     acknowledging the "racing" heritage of the model...
     
     Gee, I guess I'm guilty of that about which you complain...in reverse! 
     Hmmmm,  I'll bet my GT-6 (or even my Spitfire) could beat a TR-6 
     around the ol' slalom course in reverse...
     
     Hang in there...the day will come when these fine little LBC will get 
     their due!!!!!!!!

Scott, I recently posted a message lamenting that Spitfires 
and GT6's get no respect, even from other Triumph owners.  I 
got severely nuked by a bunch of TR6 owners who insisted it 
ain't so.  If it ain't, how come the resale value of my GT6 
is about 1/2 that of a TR6 in similar condition?  The good 
news is that we can afford to buy twice as many cars as
they can, right?
